WEDNESDAY

Had a day off from work today and I spent it walking around in Kamppi and Forum (two big malls in Helsinki), I also took a short trip to IKEA. When I finally got home I made me some lovely Zucchini pasta that I ate while watching "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" (Great movie). About the Zucchini pasta, it happens to be one of my favourite dishes at the moment. Easy to do and done in a few minutes! 

This is what I use for my pasta (1 person)

- 2 cloves of garlic

- 1 large/medium Zucchini

Haha as you already see you don't need much to this. 

-Wash the Zucchini

- Shred or slice the Zucchini (I usually just use a cheese slicer) if you have time let it dry for 10 minutes because the Zucchini can be watery.

- Mince the garlic and fry with oil until they get a "gold" shade

- Put the Zucchini down in the frying pan and fry for 4-5 minutes (or even less, you will notice when it's done)

And then it's ready to eat! You can use a little salt when you fry them but I skip that because I don't think it's necessary. I eat this with pesto rosso, which is an delicious combo! But I think it will go well with other "sauces" too, or if you want, meat or quorn.

I actually didn't want to post this because I didn't have any patience to put it nicely on the plate..haha and the Zucchini was very watery so that's why it looks a bit weird, but it was yummie!

FOR YOU, I'D LOSE IT ALL

Some pictures that I found in my phone. Some of them went straight to Instagram but some of them just almost landed there. I intend to do that all the time haha. Missing my furry friend on the pictures! Amanda is on a mini-vacation and I got the ordinary "home-alone-paranoia" hearing noises and stuff like that, so to have a furry little guard here wouldn't hurt at all. But I guess it will get better tomorrow!

I got a London-fever right now. Okay I always have it more or less, but maybe it's a slight stronger now when I'm editing all the pictures and looking at the wonderful memories. I love London and I'm going to live there someday. As you see it was a while since I took these pictures but I finally got a new computer so now I can blog without stealing Amandas computer!! *Worth a smiley* :-D Now I will work on my editing skills and bring my camera everywhere..hehe

Started this day early, but in the best way- with Moomin and fresh baked buns. The Moomin watching has kind of became a part of the daily routine. Haha it's the best cartoon and always make me feel like little Becky again. Except from eating buns and singing the Moomin intro-song I've been working. Working week with one day off, so busy-busy week.

RESTAURANT DAY

A week ago it was the Restaurant Day! I've never experienced it and I didn't even know what it was until last Sunday. It's a day when everybody can have a little "one-day-pop-up-restaurant" outside on the streets or if you want in your apartment, and sell food or other treats. For a food lover like me it was an awesome day, even though I only bought a cookie. It was delicious! And a big applause for all the people who stood outside in the not so wonderful weather! I'm so in need of summer right now...

SUNDAY FUN DAY

Hola! It's been a while...guess I'm not used to this blogging-thingy, but it's time to change that!

Today Elina was here and she brought a special little guest with her..Milli! How cute isn't she?? Cuteness overload. I found it very hard to take a picture of this little cutie-pie since she was all about exploring the apartment and chewing on every little thing she found, but while she was taking a nap I managed to take a few pictures..and then my battery on the camera died...just my luck. The day have also been including two singing birds, me acting chef in the kitchen making Lasagne and improving my record in Flappy Bird(40...not that good haha).
